DDC HVAC Controls

Direct digital controls are the brain of a commercial HVAC system: schedules, setpoints, economisers, demand ventilation and alarms all live in the controller. When the programming is right, a building is comfortable and its energy bill is low; when it is wrong, equipment short-cycles and tenants complain. We program, commission and troubleshoot DDC systems from Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens and Schneider Electric.

We take on new control installations, retrofits of pneumatic or legacy systems, and the integration of rooftop units, VRF, boilers and chillers into one front end. Sequences of operation are written down, tested point by point and left with the owner.

For buildings with an existing system we offer trend analysis, fault finding on sensors and actuators, network and communication repairs, and tuning of loops and schedules so the system runs the way it was designed to.
